Crazy Kids

Sometimes when I see children getting baptized or taking communion, I just think to myself, "They shouldn't be doing that. They really don't understand what it is that they're doing." But this weekend, God reminded me of Matthew 19, when the disciples try to stop the children from coming to Jesus because the kids didn't really "get it," they didn't understand "who He was," because He was important, and the disciples didn't want him bothered. But in verse 14 Jesus says: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Hm. I guess I just needed reminded.
